A black "T" shape on a yellow diamond indicates a T- intersection ahead. Option (d) is correct.

What do you mean by Intersection?

An intersection is a point or line common to lines or surfaces that intersect.

The "T" intersection is where three roads come together. It is usually represented by a yellow diamond with a black "T" in the center, and its main purpose is to warn drivers on the road segment that is about to end.

These are the most common types of intersections you will come across. At a T-intersection, the minor roadway is almost always controlled by a stop sign, whereas vehicles on the major roadway continue driving without stopping.

Pls write a story that ends with the statement I had never felt so embarrassed in my life not less than 450

Answers

Answer:

Each one of us has some or the other qualities in ourselves which differentiate us from other people. The vital need is to search it out of our soul and when we have sought it, excelled in it, and the need of the hour then is to be humble and not be over-confident. When we excel in a particular field, all have high expectations from us to perform well. There the humbleness and sincerity of our mind comes into play.

I too possess a talent and this is how I became aware of it. One day, I went to play badminton and I was astonished to find that the traditional and basic shots came naturally to me. I thought that this was an extraordinary trait gifted to me. I started to pursue my career as a badminton player. I worked hard for two years until I became the champion at the district level. I had stepped into the professional panel of this game. I thought that I was the best in the district and this thought convinced me to decrease the length of my practice sessions and my mind was on the seventh heaven. I stopped paying attention to senior players or the coach's advice.

Days passed, it was time now for the state level tournament. After winning districts, I had lost my humble attitude and was full of over-confidence. I thought that I would conquer the state level forgetting that there were many other district level players like me. To my utter surprise, I was knocked out in the first round by a player whom I had defeated at the district level. It was an extremely shocking and traumatic moment for me.

I had let down my parents and my coach and I felt ashamed to show my face to them. My coach came searching for me and I feared that he would lash out at me for losing such an important match, but rather he was calm and affectionate. In a matter of five minutes, he taught me the greatest lesson of my life- hard work and humbleness.

He explained he had been noticing my change of attitude which was the cause of my downfall. He also pointed to my over-confident behaviour and advised that one should always be rooted to the earth, no matter whatever height of success one reaches. Moreover one should always be humble and respectful at all times even to our opponents. From then on, I vowed to follow my guide's advice all my life.

My coach wanted to teach this lesson in a practical way, therefore didn't point my shortcomings earlier. Though I suffered a big defeat which was the most embarrassing moment of my life, but it is never too late to pick up the shreds and weave a bed of roses for yourself.

Features of Dystopian fiction in the hunger games chapter 1
Examples of event which took place or concept and that made it dystopian ?
Please I need help

Answers

Hello there! :D

Today, I want you to get a rounded idea of what a Dystopian fiction is and some of the features of it that relate to The Hunger Games. I will not be giving you a direct answer that you can copy and paste, I would rather help you learn how to find this information and how to relate it back to concepts and ideas!

Let's take a look at the definition of a Dystopian. A Dystopian story line is one that relates or denotes to a society or state (imagined) where there are great sufferings and injustices. You can find this definition on google, a simple search. These tend to focus on social issues! One example of a Dystopian I loved in middle school is the Lunar Chronicles, so if you want to read up on some Dystopian books, that is a great series to read.

I will not be reading the first chapter of the Hunger Games, but I can help you connect general ideas of the book with the idea of a Dystopian storyline. What are some social issues/ great injustices you can see early in the book?

- There is a seperation of a nation that once was united, the 13 districts.

- A game takes place where one teenager from each district has to kill other teenagers to live and provide for their family and district (injustice).

-In the community of district 12, (where Katniss is) you hear a lot of descriptive words relating to poverty, maltreatment, and overall negative people.

-Social hierarchy. Disctrict 1 (the Capital) lives in luxury while the rest of the districts do not.

-District 13 was destroyed because it revolted against the Capital.

I would suggest to read the first chapter, watch a couple videos talking about the book, and read some lengthy reviews on the book as well. You can find all these things relatively easily. Remember, you are more capable then you think and you got this!

I hope this helped you and you have a wonderful day,

Kai xx

Another reason being, financial responsibility.  Without fail creating better opportunities and clear pathways for better jobs and income, if one wants to provide for a family in the future, a job is critical. Thirdly, pride. Fourthly, there are aspects of education you cannot further achieve without college, it is a large section of ones development from childhood to adulthood, and it plays a massive role. And finally, it is determined statistically, that attending college will bring one the most success leading to a more fulfilled life, which is why it is preached. How does Care define "an Englishman’s liberty"?

He defined an Englishman's Liberty as the "original happy frame of government, a privilege not to be exempt from law, but to be freed in person and estate from arbitrary violence and oppression".

Explanation:

Henry Care defined an Englishman's Liberty as the "original happy frame of government, a privilege not to be exempt from law, but to be freed in person and estate from arbitrary violence and oppression". He explained that even if the English monarchy enjoyed privileged rights, the presence of the law guides them as well as the people whom they rule.

This is unlike the government and monarchy in other European countries like Russia and France where the word of the monarch was law. His definition shows that the English people are free and it is only when a person breaks a law that he his freedom might be restricted.
