What is the difference between science and trickery?

Answers

Science is- by definition understanding the natural and social world following a systematic methodology based on evidence. Proof is needed, experiments take place etc. Whereas trickery is simply the act of deception, can be for multiple reasons.

However trickery exists in the natural world too in the form of animals using tricks to make themselves look frightening or like another animal. In both cases you cannot believe what you see. The difference would probably be that the tricks science plays can be uncovered by experiments and other observations, but im not sure.

Your question has been heard loud and clear.

Science is basically the logic that explains why things happen and how they occur the way they are , especially with natural phenomena. It is solely used for beneficial purposes so that humans can advance and develop themselves through science.

Trickery is the art mastered by people who just live by using shortcuts and making loopholes out of everything to bypass consequences. It is indeed the complete opposite of science because trickery is not used for improvement like science , but it is used to bring others down while the trickster rises. It is not beneficial for development and advancements. Trickery is however useful to the person using it , and science is useful to the person using it and to the people , but trickery is only beneficial for the person using it , unlike science.

an ice cube has the following dimensions :
5.5cm - 8.0cm - 8.4cm
its mass is 340g.Calculate:
a-its volume
b-its density

Answers

Answer:

The correct answer would be :

1 volume = 369.6

2. density = 0.9199

Explanation:

Given :

dimensions : 5.5cm - 8.0cm - 8.4cm

Mass : 340 g

Formula :

volume = side * side * side

density = mass/ volume

Solution :

volume of ice cube would be

= 5.5cm * 8.0cm * 8.4cm

= 369.6 m³

density of ice cube would be

= 340/369.6

=0.9199

Thus, the correct answer would be

He poured a liquid filled with bacteria into the Petri dish. Both circles of paper were placed in the Petri dish about 3cm apart. At the end of the experiment, a circle with a radius of 2cm formed around the circle of paper soaked in penicillin. There were no bacteria growing in the 2cm circle. polymer of carbohydrates starch, cellulose, glycogen

monomer of protein amino acids

polymer of protein polypeptides

monomer of nucleic acid nucleotides

polymer of nucleic acid DNA

polymer of lipids triglycerides

monomer of lipids 3 fatty acids and glycerol

Monosaccharides are the monomers and polysaccharides are the polymers of carbohydrates. Amino acids are monomers and polypeptides are the polymers of proteins. Nucleotides are the monomers of nucleic acid and polynucleotides are the polymers of nucleic acids. Fatty acids and glycerol are monomers and triglycerides are the polymers of lipids.

What are monomers and polymers?

Lipids, Polysaccharides, Proteins and Polynucleotides are the four major groups of macromolecules that are found in the bodies of all living organisms. These are also called biomolecules.

Monomers are small molecules which are generally organic. These molecules combine with other similar monomers which form large molecules. These are polymers. All the monomers can form chemical bonds with at least two monomer molecules.

A class of synthetic substances that are composed of multiples of simpler units or monomers are called polymers. These are the chains of monomers which have a nonspecified number of monomeric units.

Therefore, monosaccharides are the monomers and polysaccharides are the polymers of carbohydrates. Amino acids are monomers and polypeptides are the polymers of proteins. Nucleotides are the monomers of nucleic acid and polynucleotides are the polymers of nucleic acids. Fatty acids and glycerol are monomers and triglycerides are the polymers of lipids.

Sam saw something terrifying. His muscles tensed, he began breathing more rapidly, and he began to sweat. Having taken introductory psychology, Sam knew that the ________________ division of his __________ nervous system had been activated. 0 points sympathetic; limbic parasympathetic, autonomic somatic, peripheral central, sympathetic

Answers

Answer:

sympathetic and autonomic

Explanation:

Hello there! :D

Firstly, I want to say that some of the written out answers look incomplete. I am going to try my best to answer this question and give you context so that you can choose the best answer choice! :)

There are two main systems within the boundaries our nervous system:

The CNS (central nervous system) and the PNS (peripheral nervous system).

Struturally,

the CNS constistues the brain and spinal chord,

the PNS consistutes your nerves and ganglion.

Functionally, the CNS recieves messages from the PNS and sends messages to the PNS. Think of the CNS as the control center, and the PNS as the reactor.

The PNS has two systems within it, the somatic nervous system, and the autonomic nervous system. The somatic nervous system senses things consciously percieved (ie. eye sight, pain, taste) and the autonomic nervous system senses things unconsciously percieved and controled (ie. stress, anxiety, etc). The point being, you cannot control when it happens or stop the function of it consciously.

The autonomic nervous system holds two main systems, which would be the parasympathetic system and the sympathetic system. The parasympathetic system helps maintain your circadian rythmn, replenish energy, and relax your body. The sympathetic system is known as your "fight or flight" system. This system can be triggered by test anxiety, unsafe situations, and in any case where your life or emotional well being is being threatened.

My best answer for this question, in my opinion, would be the autonomic nervous system, and the sympathetic system. The sympathetic system deals with fear (fight or flight) and is controlled by the autonomic nervous system).

I hope this helps you and you have a wonderful day,

Kai xx

What is the function of nerve cell ?

Nerve cells or neurons are the specialized cell for communication which is under the nervous system.

It is composed of cell body with nucleus, axon and dendrites.

Axon and dendrites are the long extension from cell body where as dendrites receive signal and conduct the signal to the cell body.

It involve in transmitting the information throughout the human body, by generating electrical signals called action potentials.

The nerve cell also helps the body in the smooth conduction of metabolic activities.

It involve in both the voluntary and involuntary movement of the body parts.

The communication between the central nervous system is established by the help of nerve cell and the body parts by enabling the smooth transmission of messages.
