Mexico wanted to expand its borders to the Pacific Ocean.

The Pacific Ocean is the biggest and private of Earth's 5 oceanic divisions. It extends from the Arctic Ocean inside the north to the Southern Ocean (or, relying on definition, to Antarctica) inside the south, and is bounded by means of the continents of Asia and Oceania within the west and the Americas in the east. At one hundred sixty five,250,000 square kilometers (63,800,000 rectangular miles) in region (as described with a southern Antarctic border), this largest division of the sector Ocean—and, in flip, the hydrosphere—covers approximately forty six% of Earth's water surface and about 32% of its general floor region, large than Earth's entire land area mixed 148,000,000 km2 (57,000,000 sq.Mi).[1]

The three driving causes for exploration were the commercial pursuit of gold, the religious extension of Christianity, and glory (competition among empires).

Who was Vasco da Gama?

The first European to go by sea to India was a Portuguese explorer named Vasco da Gama, the 1st Count of Vidigueira. He was the first to go from Europe to Asia through the Indian and Atlantic seas on his maiden expedition to India via the Cape of Good Hope. A Portuguese fleet was sent to India in 1497 under the command of Vasco da Gama as King Manuel I, who had succeeded John and been crowned in 1495, sought a sea passage from Western Europe to the East.

Due to their physical location at the time, Muslims had a monopoly on commerce with India and other Eastern countries. Vasco da Gama is most recognized for becoming the first person to round the Cape of Good Hope in Africa and set sail for India. Over the course of two voyages, beginning in 1497 and 1502, da Gama landed and traded in locales along the coast of Southern Africa before reaching India on May 20, 1498.

Microaggressions are very common elements in our society that cause prejudiced and negative situations that affect the people involved in a very intense way, even questioning and invalidating what these people are and represent.

The first step in not promoting microaggressions is to educate yourself on social issues, mainly related to social minorities such as blacks, women, foreigners, and the disabled, among other groups.

2. Write a complete sentence about the impact of improved
agriculture on the health and population of Britain.

Answers

Between the mid-17th and late 19th centuries, improvements in labor and land productivity led to the British Agricultural Revolution, also known as the Second Agricultural Revolution, which was a historically exceptional rise in agricultural production in Britain.

What is the British Agricultural Revolution?

Over the 100 years that ended in 1770, agricultural production increased more quickly than the population, and productivity thereafter remained quite high. The population of England and Wales grew quickly, from 5.5 million in 1700 to over 9 million by 1801, thanks to the rise in the food supply. However, when the population more than quadrupled to over 35 million by the nineteenth century, local food production began to lose ground to food imports. By using the year 1700 as the base year (=100), agricultural production per agricultural worker in Britain climbed slowly from approximately 50 in 1500 to about 65 in 1550 to 90 in 1600 to over 100 by 1650 to over 150 by 1750, and then rapidly to over 250 by 1850. The increase in productivity hastened the fall of the labor force's agricultural component while increasing the urban workforce needed for industrialization, which is why the Agricultural Revolution has been blamed for the Industrial Revolution.

However, historians continue to disagree over the precise timing and nature of such a "revolution." According to G. E. Mingay, there were several agricultural revolutions rather than just one, with one covering the two centuries before to 1650, another emphasising the century after 1650, a third covering the years 1750–1780, and a fourth covering the middle decades of the nineteenth century. Because of this, more contemporary historians have argued that generalizations about "the Agricultural Revolution" are challenging to support.

The idea of tribal sovereignty in the United States refers to an indigenous tribe's innate right to self-government within American territory. American Indian tribes were at one time recognized by the federal government of the United States as autonomous nations, and treaties were used to establish policy agreements with them.

The speed of treaty-making increased despite increasing political pressure for "Indian removal" as the U.S. quickened its westward advance. The American Civil War pushed the nation toward greater centralization and nationalism, resulting in efforts to assimilate Native Americans and a "full bore assault on tribal culture and institutions."
