If you look down into the water, it is hard to see them! Also, penguins’ white bellies camouflage them! When predators look up at penguins swimming, it can be hard to see them. They blend in with the sky! Not only do the colors of penguins help them, but their feathers help too! Their outside feathers are waterproof and protects them while they are swimming. Penguins inside feathers are soft and help keep them warm. Penguins’ coats are for more than just being ready to party!
