Story that end with the statement i had never felt so embarrassed in my life

Answers

Answer and Explanation:

Have you ever being in a situation where you tried to do something you always excelled in previously but all of a sudden you just flopped?

This was my story on this day. As a child I was a pretty good dancer and everyone around loved watching me dance. Well, I was till my friends in high school made me enter into a dancing competition.

The music was good, the crowd was friendly to an extent but when I got to the stage all I could do was to sway from side to side. My friends kept on cheering me on. But I couldn't just help it. I eventually stopped trying when one of the judges asked me to get off the stage, that I had no business coming for the contest.

I felt like I had wasted everybody's time so while walking out of the building I had my eyes on the flow with my head bowed. I had never felt so embarrassed in my life.

There were tears in Shankar's eyes and he said his brother had scolded him. They both came home and her mother was scared, her son came back after a long time and there were tears of joy. After so much pain he finally found Succes and now he took her to town.

What are stereotypes? How can they be beneficial? How can they be detrimental? How can we overcome stereotypes?

Answers

Stereotypes are basically putting people into groups and boxes of general misconceptions because of race or gender. I’d assume stereotypes are only good if they are positive. They can be detrimental by putting people in boxes and and limiting them to something, if that makes sense. Like saying “women are bad drivers.” It isn’t true in many cases and you can’t just assume that someone is a bad driver because of their gender. We can overcome stereotypes by normalizing the opposite of these stereotypes and promoting positivity. Hope that helps!

What is Coordinate adjectives?

Adjectives that apply to and describe the same noun or subject's identical property are known as coordinate adjectives. To achieve this successfully, though, the author must comma-separate them; otherwise, the reader can mistake the adjectives for a single modifier rather than a pair of coordinates.

Adjectives that modify the same noun in succession are known as coordinate adjectives. Adjectives in sentences like bright, sunny day and dark, stormy night, for instance, are coordinate adjectives.

"To determine if a pair of adjectives is coordinated, there are two 'tests. A pair of adjectives is coordinate if one can place and between the adjectives, or one may reverse the order of the adjectives and still have a meaningful phrase.

In the autobiography Long Walk to Freedom, Nelson says, “He had planted a seed, and though I let that seed lie dormant for a long season, it eventually began to grow.” What does this mean?

I really need this

Answers

Hello there! :D

My policy (and Brainly's for that matter) is that I won't provide a copy-and-paste kind of answer. I will help you find context and ideas! :) I also might take awhile answering this question, since I like to do some research and know what I am talking about before answering your question.

Alright, I read up on some of the context of the book. Nelson Mandela lived in Southern Africa at a time where there was much racial discrimination. Nelson worked his entire life to peacefully protest against racism and when he decided that change was no longer possible, he and his followers grew violent and tried to sabotage some of the country's government. If you think about it, it is very much like the Black Lives Matter movement right now. Except, Nelson was jailed for 27 years because of his beliefs! The government classified him as a terroist and many of his followers as well. Because of his beliefs, he one day became accepted and become president. A truly awe-inspiring person. There is your context!

The quote, "He had planted a seed, and though I let that seed lie dormant for a long season, it eventually began to grow," is an example of his life and his truths. He planted this sead of ideology in his country, that everyone should be created equal, and although not well recieved at first, the seed was there and was prepared for the rain to come. When people started to see his movement, that seed grew and was nourished. However, I am not entirely sure what he means by 'let' if it was voluntary that he left those beliefs dormat or not. I think that is for you to decide!

If you have any questions about anything I just said, DM me and let me know!

I hope this helped you and you have a wonderful day,
