The society should not kill a criminal who has not taken the life of another person. Such a criminal should be imprisoned with the aims of reformation, restitution, and reintegration.
5. Based on how the American society treat their poor, condemned, and incarcerated citizens, one can classify the society as one that delights in punishment instead of reformation.
